VERONA | Hostaria
In mid-October Verona’s city center is transformed into an open-air wine bar for the epic Hostaria Verona event. The picturesque Old Town serves as a unique setting in which one can choose from over 150 wines to sample from the numerous stands sprinkled throughout the elegant town squares and narrow streets. Veneto wineries proudly present their best wines, accompanied by local and tasty specialities.






LAKE GARDA | Bardolino Wine Festival
2019 marks the 90th edition of the ever-popular wine festival at Lake Garda. During the first weekend of October the village of Bardolino celebrates its red and rose’ wines. A variety of stands are set up along the lakeside promenade for visitors to taste the wines paired with culinary treats in a fabulous atmosphere. To finish with flare, fireworks will light up the sky in the evening.





TUSCANY | Chianti Wine Festival
Chianti is amongst the most famous of the Italian red wines. In honor of this famous tipple, the charming village of Greve hosts a lovely wine festival each year during the second weekend of September. The triangular Piazza Matteoti is at the heart of the festivities, where countless stands offer local treats and tastings of Chianti Classico. Enjoy the lively event with live music and other attractions for the whole family to enjoy.





ELBA | Grape Festival
Elba’s Grape Festival in Capoliveri, takes place annually at the beginning of October. The locals, inhabiting the four districts of the town, participate in various competitions to represent their neighborhood. The fun-filled event also includes the opportunity to sample wines and treats, giving wine-enthusiasts the possibility to gain unique insight into island life and the ancient farming techniques still used to produce vino on the island.






VENETO | Prosecco Wine Route
The popularity of the Aperol Spritz aperitif has really put the Prosecco sparkling wine and its vineyards on the map. Our tour traces the origins of this popular and tasty drink, enabling visitors to discover the beautiful area around Treviso. The Prosecco Wine Route is the first of its kind in Italy. It begins in the town of Conegliano and winds its way for 47 km around the gently rolling hills around Feletto, Piave and Valdobbiadene.



FRIULI | Vineyard Tour
During autumnal weekends many vintners in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region invite visitors to their vineyards. Relish the chance to sample the excellent wines produced in this area as you travel through it. Local entertainment – including concerts, artisan demonstrations and exhibitions – is open to the public to enjoy, while also giving insight into the lives and conviviality of the wine producers.
